Truckload pricing.
Pallet-size orders.
A buyer network for salvage grocery stores and independent discount grocers. We pool demand into full truckloads so you can take pallet-size shares of name-brand lots you'd never reach alone.
The best deals have always gone to the biggest buyers.
When a CPG has four truckloads of surplus to move, they call the biggest salvage chains first. By the time a broker brings you the leftovers, the price already has someone else's markup baked in.
Sidestream works differently. We source truckloads directly from CPGs, manufacturers, and distributors — and we split them across a network of independent grocers. You commit to the pallets you can actually move. We handle the split and the logistics.
Four steps. No long forms.
Tell us what you buy.
Categories, location, typical pallet volume, cold-chain capability. No long questionnaire — just enough for us to match you well.
We bring you deals.
When a matching lot lands, you see the details: product, case count, best-by, pickup window, price per case.
Commit to your share.
Take the full truckload if you can. More often, you claim the pallets that fit your floor — 2, 10, 20. Other buyers in the group commit to theirs.
Pick up your product.
Depending on the deal: hub pickup, multi-stop delivery, or direct ship. All coordinated through licensed logistics partners.

What's the minimum commitment? −
Depends on the lot, but most accommodate commitments as small as 2 pallets.
How often will I see deals? +
As soon as a lot matches your profile. Cadence depends on your categories and geography — we'll be upfront about what to expect when you join.
What if the product isn't as described? +
Sidestream stands behind every lot. You're buying from us, not the supplier directly — so if something arrives outside spec, we make it right.
Do you source produce, meat, or prepared foods? +
Not currently. Sidestream is focused on packaged food grocery.
How does Sidestream make money? +
The price you see on a deal is the price you pay — no surprise fees, no commission layered on top. Sidestream acts as principal on every lot, so you deal with one counterparty on one invoice.
